不育是指夫婦同居一定的時間內，雙方沒有採取任何避孕措施的情况下進行規律的性生活，而未獲得妊娠者，診斷是否為不育，一定要關心性生活的頻率，某些人因工作的需要，長期兩地分居，或者夫妻感情不和，性生活次數少，這些都會導致女方不孕，然而由此造成的不懷孕不能判為男性不育。
